Christmas Carol or A Christmas Carol (A Christmas Carol in the original English) is a short novel written by Charles Dickens the British in 1843. It speaks of how a shy person can change his attitude at Christmas. The main character is Ebenezer Scrooge, a miserly and stingy person who does not celebrate the Christmas party because of his solitary life and workaholism. I do not care about others, even his dedicated employee Bob Cratchit, only care about themselves. One day, at home, Scrooge receives a visit from a mysterious spirit who happens to be his best friend and partner, Jacob Marley, who died at the beginning of the story and then announces a dark prophecy about the future of the miser and the arrival of the three spirits of Christmas. Scrooge is not frightened and defy prediction.

En ella se habla de cómo una persona huraña puede cambiar su actitud en Navidad. El protagonista es Ebenezer Scrooge, una persona avara y tacaña que no celebra la fiesta de Navidad a causa de su solitaria vida y su adicción al trabajo. No le importan los demás, ni siquiera su abnegado empleado Bob Cratchit, sólo se importa a sí mismo. Un día, en su casa, Scrooge recibe la visita de un espíritu misterioso que resulta ser el de su mejor amigo y socio Jacob Marley, que al iniciar el relato muere y posteriormente, le anuncia una tenebrosa profecía acerca del futuro del avaro y la llegada de los tres espíritus de la navidad. Scrooge no se asusta y desafía la predicción.
